You don’t need to be a celebrity to get pampered like a star at these luxury spas located in the 90210. After spending the last year hibernating, I was ready to visit these top Beverly Hills spas to sample new treatments and get close-up ready.
The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills
The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills has launched an entire Wellness Floor for their health-focused guests.
The hotel’s entire fourth floor has been redesigned into a wellness oasis including ten Wellness Rooms, one Wellness Studio Suite, three Wellness Suites, a Private fitness Suite and a Well Office. All are located in close proximity to the resort’s beautiful spa, big pool and outdoor fitness center.
I chose the resort’s “Awaken Your Senses” package which included luxury accommodations and dining and wellness experiences. The package is designed to awaken senses of touch, taste, sound and sight.
My Wellness Room had an open airy design with soothing décor and color schemes and housed a hypoallergenic wood floor, sound machine, Rabbit air purification system, and an energizing light to aid with regulating circadian rhythm.
I was able to relax with guided meditations narrated by Deepak Chopra and work out with the in-room yoga equipment. My room was located on a top floor at the 16-story resort and featured a wrap-around wrought iron balcony with views of the Hollywood sign and downtown LA.
I was able to reserve the roomy Private Fitness Suite, which can fit up to three guests for two-hour workout sessions and includes the use of the treadmill, Peloton bike, Soul Cycle bike, yoga equipment and rowing machine. For Wellness guests, the Suite is free and is $75 for other hotel guests.
If you have to work during your stay, the Well Office provides a tranquil and innovative space. The spacious office includes a Rabbit air purification system, adjustable height conference table and standing desk stools to allow for hybrid work options.
There is also a large screen television for presentations, hypoallergenic wood floors, a small fridge and a printer.
The package includes 20% off spa services and I chose to indulge in the new Eco-Luxury Organic Facial. I stepped into the spa’s new Garden Suite with a living green wall for my treatment.
The facial incorporated an Ayuna Oleo Essence cream-in-oil peel that is safer than traditional hydroxy acids leaving my skin exfoliated and smooth. The face massage and volcanic mask left me rejuvenated and refreshed.
Guests can enjoy a dip in the pool just minutes away from Wellness rooms and suites or choose to work out in the fully equipped outdoor gym.

The Beverly Hills Hotel
During most of 2020, The Beverly Hills Hotel Spa took a break from the spotlight and got a facelift.
The redesign was completed by Champalimaud Design and includes a relocated entrance offering a private check-in experience complete with signature pink facemasks, a new cozy relaxation room and five new treatment rooms, including a couple’s suite.
I chose to indulge in a manicure in the secluded new nail salon housing two luxury pedicure chairs and a manicure area with views of the citrus garden through large arched windows.
The hotel’s iconic tree design is incorporated in unique wall coverings throughout the spa, reflected in soothing beige and gold tones in the nail salon.
My Power Manicure included a detoxifying coffee almond scrub and a deep detox ritual mask infused with rose, jasmine and ylang-ylang to soften and hydrate my hands.
The nail spa offers a unique four-step nail process from Dazzle Dry, eliminating harsh chemicals but still offering a long-lasting manicure with gel-like results. My manicure used non-toxic ingredients. It was quick drying and lasted two weeks.

The Peninsula Hotel
Located in close proximity to both Beverly Hills and Century City, the Peninsula Hotel has a new Beauty Sleep package offering a $350 spa credit. Guests can enjoy daily breakfasts for two, early check-in and late departure, free overnight valet and complimentary BMW rental for suite bookings.
Use the spa credit for their Biologique Recherche Seconde Peau 90-minute Facial which utilizes special electro-spun hyaluronic acid, perfect for plumping and hydrating skin.
The treatment includes a microdermabrasion exfoliation, inflammation-reducing oxygenation, LED face mask, and facial massage with micro currents. This alternative to fillers reduces the appearance of wrinkles leaving skin youthful, hydrated and radiant.
Located on the fifth floor next to the rooftop pool and restaurant, the 4,600 square foot spa features a pink-walled serenity lounge with gold-leafed porcelain flower accents, a Swarovski Crystal pendant fixture, and seven rooms with heated robes and the option for guests to choose their own music playlist during facials and massage treatments.
During the week spa guests can enjoy “Twilight Pool Hours” from 5 to 10 pm, allowing spa guests access to the rooftop pool and jacuzzi.
For an ultra-LA experience, choose their Relax and Revive Soiree including poolside pampering in a decked-out cabana with panoramic city views. Invite three friends along for reflexology, mani-pedis, champagne, and a $250 food and beverage credit at the roof garden restaurant.

Hotel Bel-Air
Nestled in the canyons of Beverly Hills, Hotel Bel Air offers a secluded intimate spa featuring seven treatment rooms with heated tables, a steam room, a private nail suite and The Enclave, a 570 square-foot private suite including a shower, grand soaking tub and enclosed shaded patio with a waterfall.
The spa specializes in facials using luxurious Swiss Valmont products. Splurge and treat yourself to their signature 90-minute Vitality of the Stars facial including a facial massage with cooling glass orbs, a cellular collagen mask to renew and restore skin, an LED light and microcurrent treatment and a hand a foot massage to finish the treatment.
After a few days, I still had brighter skin, reduced fine lines and a glowing complexion.
Tomoko Spa
Travel to a Japanese spa in the heart of Beverly Hills at Tomoko Spa, specializing in authentic Japanese massage treatments with a minimalist aesthetic.
Each spa guest has their own special room to enjoy with a yukata traditional Japanese robe, private rainfall shower and Japanese delicacies including ginger tea, detox water and mochi.
