Dubai is home to an array of incredible experiences travelers could only imagine taking part in – from the view at the top of the Burj Khalifa to the dazzling traditional Gold Souk. The metropolitan playground offers astounding architecture, wild nightlife, and some of the world’s largest shopping malls. However, there are off-beat activities too. Here are three of Dubai’s most unusual and wonderful experiences.
Atlantis, The Palm is renowned for its luxurious living and rooms in Dubai, but in addition to the resort’s Club Suites and Guest Rooms, there is an experience like no other – their Underwater Suites! Guests who choose to stay at their Poseidon or Neptune Underwater Suites get to fall asleep looking at the underwater views that include the ancient ruins of the mythical lost city of Atlantis and its 65,000 inhabitants who live in the Ambassador Lagoon through floor to ceiling windows.
Bungee Jump off a Crane
For thrill seekers and adrenaline junkies alike, this experience from Gravity Zone is one you won’t want to miss out on – a panoramic view of Dubai while in complete freefall. A 50-meter bungee jump pushes any adventurer’s boundaries – you will have to be incredibly brave in order to take the leap into the unknown and plummet head first through the air. In addition to going home with an amazing story to tell, you will be able to experience a view of Dubai you would not see from anywhere else in the city.
Relax in Icy Surroundings
Although not the only one in the world, the Middle East’s first sub-zero ice-made lounge is filled with a selection of ice sculptures, ice seating and tables, as well as a uniquely illuminated interior. On arrival, you and the other guests are given thermal clothing – trust us, you’ll need it – to keep yourself snug while you enter the icy location, with a temperature of minus six. While there, you can enjoy a hot soup, sandwich, juice, hot chocolate, cocktails, and sweet treats.
These are just three of the unique experiences you can take part in while on holiday to Dubai, depending on what your preference is, you might want to try all three!
