For most of us, getting a taxi is simple. Just hail a cab on the street, call up your local rank, or nowadays, even order and track a taxi with a few clicks of your phone. However, as this info from The Taxi Centre shows, this certainly isn’t the case worldwide.
For many around the world, getting a taxi could result in sharing a ride with complete strangers, a trip on a boat, or even an elephant ride. If you’ve ever been in doubt of whether “to tip or not to tip” when on your travels, take a look below to help you out.
