The spa also offers ruesri dut ton, an exercise routine that dates back thousands of years in Thailand, and three-step meditation, another ancient Thai practice.
Although the Thai spa is a huge part of the Echo Valley experience, the ranch is also decidedly western. Trail rides are available every morning and afternoon and all-day rides go out twice a week. Horseback riding lessons and clinics ensure that every rider feels comfortable on a horse.
Fly-fishing lessons, hiking, river rafting and 4 x 4 canyon tours keep guests busy. And for those who still need to keep in touch with home, the ranch has a satellite internet connection and computers in the game room.
Dining is always a huge part of any ranch experience but Echo Valley raises the bar. Executive Master Chef, Kim, hails from Copenhagen, Denmark and he brings his international experience to the dishes he creates. He uses fresh, organic and local produce whenever possible, including vegetables and herbs harvested from the ranch’s gardens.
Guests dine family style, allowing visitors to get to know others from around the world.
Echo Valley is an adult-oriented destination with a minimum age requirement of 13 years. For those with younger children, two “Family Weeks” are offered each summer.
The ranch can accommodate up to 40 guests at a time, making it a popular destination for family reunions, weddings and corporate retreats. Rates are all-inclusive and special packages are available.
