Our new photo contest, Chase the Golden Hour, celebrates the fleeting magic of golden hour light from every corner of the world. From misty mountain dawns to glowing desert sunsets, we want to see how you capture that breathtaking window when the world catches fire, wherever you are.
How to Enter: Submit a photo that captures the beauty of golden hour light: a sweeping landscape, a glowing skyline, a quiet valley at sunrise or any scene where that magical light takes center stage. Show us your take on the world at its most radiant. Include a brief description of the location and the moment. Follow us on Instagram (@goworldtravelmagazine) and tag your photos with #GoldenHourPhotoContest for a chance to be featured in our stories.
Voting & Prizes: We're excited to let you be the judge in our Chase the Golden Hour Photo Contest! Submissions are displayed here, where you can vote for your favorites. The photo with the highest number of votes will win a $100 gift card and a feature on our website. Our editors will also select honorable mentions to be featured in an editorial article.
Deadline: September 15th, 2026
Eligibility: Anyone 18+ years of age
Note: If you have already won one of our previous contests, you are not eligible to win again.
Submission Limit: Each participant can submit one photo.
Photo Requirements: Photos must be original and taken by the entrant (no AI-generated images). Submissions must include a brief description of the photo and its context. No watermarks or text overlays on the photo.
Content Restrictions: Photos must not depict harm to the environment or involve unethical practices. No photos that violate any laws or ethical standards.
Format: Submit a high-resolution JPEG file with a minimum size of 1MB and a maximum of 5MB.
Rights: By entering, you grant us permission to use your photo for promotional purposes and in connection with the contest.
Winner Notification: The winner will be notified via email by October 1st.
