Nick Jenkins (Sister Cities: Budapest, Prague and Vienna) was born in the sleepy little city of Perth, Western Australia, two years after
Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon. He trained as a computer programmer but
inherited a modicum of writing talent from his father, a journalist. His itchy
feet (also inherited from his parents) soon led him overseas to Europe where he
traveled and worked, living in London for four years. He has also lived
Seattle, Boston and now Prague, in the Czech Republic, where he is trying to learn
how to speak Czech, drink slivovice (plum brandy) and ice skate. |
