Orlando is renowned across the globe for being home to the best theme parks in the world. With Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World and a whole host of different water parks, it truly is the place to go on holiday if you are looking for an action packed, fun filled holiday like no other.The Walt Disney World Resort is made up of four theme parks, two water parks and an interactive theme park. Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach and lastly Disney Quest, five parks each one with a different experience.Magic Kingdom, home to the Cinderella Castle is the magical heart of the Disney World resort, where characters roam the park to delight children around the park, and huge parades fill the roads and walkways four times a day.Magic Kingdom truly is a dream true.Epcot brings technology and future to today as well as celebrating a selection of different cultures from around the world. Animal Kingdom celebrates animal life new and old, as well as imaginary with the recent announcement of Avatarland to be built within the Animal Kingdom. Lastly, Disney’s Hollywood Studios which celebrates the magic of movie making with behind the scenes tours, and heart-pounding rollarcoasters.Universal Studios hosts two theme parks, the classic Universal Studios and the newer Islands of Adventure which is also home to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Universal Studios is home a selection of slightly calmer rides such as Earthquake, Twister and ET which are great for smaller children, for everyone else there is The Mummy Return a high speed ride through the set of The Mummy; and the Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket a large rollercoaster which begins with a vertical assent of nearly 200ft!Islands of Adventure is for the more adventurous of your party, with Marvel Superhero Island home to The Hulk a giant high speed, twisting and turning rollercoaster; Jurassic Park a thrilling water ride through the dinosaur infested park; as well as some smaller rides for the younger ones in Dr Seus’s Island. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a full size Hogsmeade Village complete with Honeydukes, Zonkos and the Hogwarts Express. The Hogwarts Castle looms large in the background in which a rollercoaster ride mixed with a simulator resides.SeaWorld, home of Shamu, is an aquatic zoo with a difference. Watch the legendary Shamu show where Killer Whales jump and flip whilst splashing the crowd with their very powerful tails, or feed the rays, dolphins and sea lions at some of the interactive attractions at the park. Once you’ve seen all the animals jump aboard the Manta a huge rollercoaster where you fly through the air face down like a manta ray. Alternatively ride the Kraken a very fast coaster which takes you upside down over and over again!Whichever parks you manage to visit during your Orlando Holiday, each and every one gives you a fantastic experience. |
